We have a tool within Housebuilder Pro called the "Importer". As the name suggests, this can be used to import massive amounts of data without needing to manually go through all the forms one-by-one.
To access our Importer tool, you will need to have Administrator or Super Admin access. You can then click in to Admin > Company Info > Importer.
Once at the Importer, you can download our "Support.csv" spreadsheet. This will show you valid drop-down options for each module available within our templates. Additionally, you'll need to download a template for whatever data you are importing.
The Importer supports developments, snags, house types, contacts and plots. Select which form in the drop-down and click "Download template" to receive the file and begin transferring your data inside.
Once the data has been filled out, you can drag and drop the file in to the grey box below. Or you can click the grey box to automatically open your File Explorer so you can navigate to find the file and upload that way.
Once the file has been uploaded, the system will advise if there are any issues with the data before the import happens. If even one section is incorrect, the upload will be refused meaning you will have to amend the csv then reupload.
